Place - Lieutenant Shearer has served as a Naval Chaplain since 2001. He recently returned from serving with the 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines in
Afghanistan. Currently he ministers as 2nd Fleet Chaplain as well as pastor of the contemporary worship service at Training Support Center in Great Lakes, Illinois. Sheryl, an author and perpetual student, home educates their four daughters. She also leads adult Bible studies at their church.

Pray - Pray for the Shearer family as they minister to military families, especially during this time of war. Pray for their growing family as they have just welcomed their fourth daughter, Isabellah.
